For the most part we are completely in love with our fridge. It is roomy with lots of compartments to store all of our food whether in big or small containers. The only problem we have had is with the craft icemaker after 6 months. It quit working and it is taking some time to get it fixed in the small town/area that we live in. We love our craft ice balls and want them back - just waiting for the repair to happen.

It has door for frequently used items so you dont have to open up the refrigerator every time you need something like butter or milk. Its quiet and looks beautiful. We bought this 15 months ago and the cooling fan has already died. We have to pay for repairs and currently have a fan in the kitchen blowing on the condenser to prevent it from overheating. A brand new fridge shouldnt have these problems. Get something else.

Ive had this refrigerator for about two weeks. Had issue with water taste. The filter is very difficult to insert and activate. Much more twisting pressure needed than the old 2008 French door I replaced. Still getting used to new layout. Be aware there is no light for the bottom freezer drawer on this unit. I am hopeful the plastic taste in the water dissipates over time. Ice dispensers make ice quickly. I may submit another review in the next few months.

Received this refrigerator on Nov. 16 2022. It is a great fridge except for the ice makers. The indoor maker often the ice gets jamed with ice stuck together. The craft ice still has a funny taste to it after 2 momths. Tech support promised to send a replacement ice filter over a month ago but it has never come. Other than the ice issues it is a superior fridge.

So the fridge orient my is mostly fine. I like the layout and the extra window door. The craftt ice however broke less than a year into owning it. The warranty is for a mere 6 months so they wont cover it. So most of the fridge works but its sad that its breakable so early with a terrible warranty. I would probably avoid in the future.

I really like my LG Fridge. The clear view inside without opening the door as very nice. I like the features but it has taken some getting used to pulling the bottom of the drawers to open them. I love the craft ice and they are crystal clear. Unfortunately indide the owners manual was a card to register my fridge with LG canada which I did and I live in the USA. Now I cannot use the wifi features of my fridge because my account was created in canada. Our new 27cu/f refrigerator and freezer is bigger than our old 23cu/f side by side. It keeps stuff cold and that keeps me cool because Im hot. I mean Im so hot that I make ice melt. Speaking of which this unit makes cubes of ice on the door and it craftily drops round ice turds in the freezer. Ive never had so much ice. I could almost go into the ice business.

We bought an LG smart fridge LRMVS2806S in Jan 2022 after struggling with a 10yr old Samsung side-side fridge freezing up every few weeks. We wanted to get all the nice features of a french door refrigerator ice and water at the door at the minimum. This fridge does not disappoint. It has large accessible space for the fridge section and the freezer areas are more than adequate. I have placed a thermometer inside to track how well the temperature is maintained and its pretty good the temp does jump a few degrees are opening the door for more than 10sec. The trays for vegetables and fruits are well accessible but the wide deli tray is not very high and requires the double doors to be open to access. The new features for us were the double door area with lighted window to avoid opening the main doors for quick snacks and drinks. The craft ice has been a real plus to supplement the in-door ice dispenser. Really enjoying the round ice ball in our drinks.

White Particles at Bottom of Ice Dispenser

I bought this 23 instaview refrigerator a few months ago and have seen white particles when the ice thawed and its liquid dried off. I raised the issue to LG a service representative responded its similar to that of hard water at the faucet. It didnt make sense to me when comparing water coming out of a filtered system in refrig and of a non filtered system in faucet. I have a simple water filtering system in the kitchen and I dont see white particles as the drinking water dries of. This is truly a bad issue and LG needs to fix it. I believe other customers need to be aware of this situation before making a decision to purchase or not.

Large glass shelf shattered immediately

We were happy when we received it but we saw the delivery guys hadnt removed all the packing material/tape from inside the refrigerator. When we picked up the large glass shelf over the crisper drawers it exploded into a million pieces. LG is covering the replacement under warranty but its been impossible to get any real updates from them. At first they ordered a part for a tv instead and then they said they ordered it but it may not ship for 14 business days. It has been 3 weeks and still no update/tracking number for the shelf. Its been hard to properly evaluate it without one of its the main shelves. Another issue we noticed is the water dispenser drips a bit and leaves a white residue on the water dispenser area. Otherwise it is fine I guess? I should have learned my lesson with LG warranty service after my last refrigerator I bought from them but I regrettably gave them a second chance.

This is a great refrigerator however the writing on the front for the water and ice maker are hard to read. Unless you have very good lighting in the area.

We bought this at the end of December 2021. Nice features and great delivery and set up from Appliance Alley. HOWEVER OUR HOME HAS FULL HOUSE WATER FILTRATION AND NOBODY FROM LG COULD TELL US ABOUT BYPASSING THE WATER FILTER. I MEAN NOBODY.... AND WE TALKED TO MANY PEOPLE FROM LG DIRECTLY. THE MANUAL HAD NO INFORMATION ABOUT THIS POINT AND THERE WAS NOTHING TO BE FOUND ON THE INTERNET ETIHER. OURTAILER COULD NOT GET ANY INFORMATION OUT OF THE WHOLESALER EITHER. FINALLY AFTER THREE DAYS OF TRYING TO GET HELP WE SIMPLY PUT A BUCKET IN THE CABNET AND PULLED OUT TOOK A CHANCE BY PULLING OUT THE WATER FILTER AND IT DID NOT LEAK.

We bought this refrigerator only 10 months ago and today the thing stopped working. Called the 800 number was hung up on 4 times. Finally called where we bought it and the tech cant come out for 6 days. Meanwhile the contents of the fridge/freezer are going to go bad. Think twice before you buy this. Not worth the $.
